We went to visit a friend that was working on a dairy farm at Huancaroma, near Desaguadero. The Bolivian Altiplano is difficult to irrigate the its pastures. They were fortunate to have nearby Desaguadero river that takes the water from lake Titikaka to lake Poopo. While everybody was resting after having a heavy lunch, think we had lamb and lots of beers, I went with one with one of my children to the end of property where the river crossed and waited till the sunset and the Golden Light.
By the way, lake Poopo has disappeared it is just a flat land.
